[Tile] Porcelain Textures
Porcelain tile is denser and more uniform than ceramic — a fine, low-porosity surface that can look glossy, matte, or stone-like depending on the finish. It's the standard choice for modern floors that need to look clean without showing every scuff.

What's in this collection
- Rough porcelain — matte, textured finish with subtle grip.
- Polished porcelain — glossy, reflective floor and wall finish.
- Stone-look porcelain — printed texture mimicking natural stone.
- Worn porcelain — light surface wear from foot traffic.
All tiles are seamless in both directions and delivered at high resolution.
Where Porcelain Tile is used
Modern interior flooring. Kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces default to porcelain for its durability and clean look.
Architectural visualization. Contemporary interior renders rely on porcelain for realistic modern floors.
Retail and hospitality design. Storefronts and lobbies use porcelain for a polished, low-maintenance surface.
Product and furniture staging. Porcelain floors provide a neutral, realistic backdrop for product renders.
How to use these in Blender
- Import base color, normal, and roughness maps in the Shading tab.
- Connect each map into a Principled BSDF's matching input.
- Lower roughness for polished finishes, raise it for matte tile.
- Use a Mapping node to align grout lines with your floor plan.
How to use these in Unreal Engine 5
- Import the texture set into your Content Browser.
- Create a Material and wire Base Color, Normal, and Roughness.
- Enable Screen Space or Lumen reflections for polished variants.
- Apply to floor and wall static meshes.
How to use these in Unity
- Add the maps to your Textures folder with correct import types.
- Create a Material using the Standard or URP Lit shader.
- Assign Albedo, Normal, and Smoothness to their slots.
- Push Smoothness high for polished, low for matte tile finishes.
Tips for Porcelain Tile specifically
Reflection quality sells polished porcelain more than the diffuse texture itself — invest in accurate reflections for hero floor shots.
Keep grout lines thin and consistent; porcelain tile typically uses narrower joints than ceramic or stone tile.
Add subtle scratches or dust in wide shots to avoid a showroom-perfect, unused look.
