[Rubber] Anti Slip Textures

Anti slip rubber textures cover the raised-pattern surfaces used on stair treads, ramps, and industrial flooring — small studs, ribs, or diamond patterns molded into the rubber to add grip underfoot.

What's in this collection

  • Textured mats — broad raised-pattern surfaces for flooring runs.
  • Smooth-edge anti slip — lower-profile grip texture for tighter spaces.
  • Rough anti slip — heavier surface grain for outdoor or industrial use.
  • Stair tread patterns — strip-style grip bands sized for step edges.

All tiles are seamless in both directions and delivered at high resolution.

Where Anti Slip Rubber is used

Stair treads. Grip strips on interior and exterior stairs.

Ramps and walkways. Wheelchair ramps, loading docks, and gangways.

Factory flooring. Standing mats and walkway strips on industrial floors.

Boat decks. Non-slip surfacing near water or wet conditions.

How to use these in Blender

  1. Unzip the pack into your textures folder.
  2. Load the base color map into a Principled BSDF's Base Color input.
  3. Plug the normal map through a Normal Map node for the raised pattern.
  4. Bump the normal strength up slightly so the grip pattern reads at a distance.

How to use these in Unreal Engine 5

  1. Import the maps and let UE5 build the material instance.
  2. Wire base color, normal, and roughness into a new Material.
  3. Raise the roughness value — anti slip rubber is almost never glossy.
  4. Apply to stair or ramp meshes and check tiling near the camera.

How to use these in Unity

  1. Import textures and set the normal map's texture type to Normal Map.
  2. Create a Material with the Standard or URP Lit shader.
  3. Assign albedo, normal, and roughness maps to their slots.
  4. Increase the normal scale so the raised pattern is visible up close.

Tips for Anti Slip Rubber specifically

This is a texture that lives or dies on the normal map — the color map alone looks flat, so don't skip plugging in the height detail.

Keep the pattern scale realistic; oversized studs read as a cartoon texture rather than real flooring.

Use a slightly darker base color in worn areas near doorways or high-traffic zones for added realism.
